Getting a cold during pregnancy is really a drag. But I would avoid taking those products during pregnancy, just to be safe. You are better off with a prenatal vitamin (if advised by your doc) and your regular healthy eating routine. Also, a dose of colorful fruits and veggies will have the same types of vitamins and minerals contained in these supplements.
The 2015 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends that you get most of your vitamins, minerals and other nutrients from food. Anytime, including pregnancy, is a good time to double down on nutrient-rich foods. Long story short: rely on healthy habits and regular hand-washing to help you avoid any seasonal bugs.
